Brian McKay serves as the Field Operations Manager for Idaho. He is a 1988 Washington State University graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science – Dairy emphasis. Brian’s previous work covers a broad spectrum of topics in the dairy industry. He has extensive knowledge and experience in dairy herd management, milking technology, and dairy reproduction consulting. Brian’s responsibilities at UHS include on-farm milk quality management consulting, as well as technical support for our laboratories.
Murali Gurajala is the Laboratory Manager for Milk lab operations in the Meridian Laboratory. He joined the Udder Health staff in October, 2008. He is a 2001 graduate of A.N.G. R. Agricultural University, India with a B.S. in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry. He continued his education with graduate work in Food Science at the University of Idaho. Murali has Microbiology laboratory experience working at Kraft Foods in Rupert, ID and Capricorn Foods in India. In addition to his responsibilities with milk quality services, Murali is working to develop food testing services in the Meridian laboratory.
Heide Devore has been our Meridian Office Manager since 2009. She is a graduate of the US Career Institute and the QuickBooks Pro Advisor Certification Program. Heide has over 17 years of experience as an accounting service professional, receptionist and office assistant. Since joining Udder Health Systems, she has also played a vital role in customer fulfillment for our microbiological media services.
Justine Britten is a Quality Milk Specialist and Customer Relations Manager in Idaho. She graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Animal Science in May of 2004. Justine has worked as a bench analyst in Kuna as well as a variety of lab and field activities in both Washington and Idaho since 1998. Justine provides technical support for laboratory services and technical support for our media customers, works on several development and research projects and is the main instructor for our Microbiological Media School.
Rodrigo Segovia joined Udder Health Systems in October, 2007 as a laboratory analyst. He graduated from Los Angeles Trade Technical College with an Associates Degree in Science in 2005. Rodrigo has previous Microbiology laboratory experience with Sorrento Lactalis and Ablestik Laboratories where he was Senior R & D Technician. He is currently the Media Production Supervisor for the Production Facility in Meridian .
Dane Britten has been directing computer and networking services at Udder Health since 2004 and in 2008 moved to our Meridian Laboratory where he also provides technical support for our new automated microbiological media operations center, and facilities support for all of our laboratories. Dane Graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelors of Applied Science in 2011.
Nancy Hanson is the Laboratory Manager at the Jerome Laboratory. She formerly was head of Field Operations in Washington and has worked at Udder Health in a variety of technical and administrative roles since 1984. Her years of experience in the field serves as a strong foundation for her managment duties in the Jerome Laboratory. Nancy received her Bachelor of Science degree at Pennsylvania State University, State College, Pa in 1975.
Jan Morrison is the Office Manager for our Jerome Laboratory. Jan received a B.A. degree in General Agriculture from the University of Idaho in 1998. She was previously employed by Rocky Mountain Resources Lab and has experience working in the lab, in the office, and on the dairy. Jan always tries to use this knowledge base to facilitate an efficient and informed environment in the Jerome Laboratory.
Frankie Murray is the Laboratory Lead in the Jerome Laboratory and has been at Udder Health Systems since 2008. Her prior work experience includes 10 years of laboratory work with Glanbia Foods where she was a Lab Technician and Lab Lead. Frankie is a State Certified Milk Analyst and the leading food analyst at Udder Health.
Andrea Mouw is a laboratory analyst in the Jerome Laboratory. Andrea graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science/Production Management from Washington State University in 2007. She has worked different roles on several dairies and also as an assistant in a large veterinary practice in Washington. Her animal science education and field experience are valuable contributions to the company.
Vic Aftin is the newest laboratory technician in the Jerome Laboratory. He has experience in a number of production facilities in the Jerome area and is currently responsible for media production for the food testing service and general lab support.
Justin Hammett is our Bellingham Laboratory Manager. He joined Udder Health in June of 2007 and has been involved in media production, product shipping and general laboratory tasks. Justin is a student at Western Washington University pursuing a degree in Physics and Mathematics.
Katie Rostock is the laboratory manager of our new Layton, Utah Laboratory. Katie graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a Zoology emphasis. She has previously worked as a veterinary technician and is now focusing her education on a laboratory setting.
